Baby's First Year Session Packages
No matter what your maternity, newborn and first year photography needs are, from just one or two short sessions to a full first-year set of sessions, KatFour Photo has you covered. Building Your Package
Whether you just need one session or you want to have a full package capturing every detail of your baby's first year, we can set that up for you. If you book several sessions for your first year package you'll receive print credits to help you print out and display your special moments! Print credits can be used on images from any of your sessions.

Set up 3-4 sessions and receive a $50 print credit.

Set up 5-6 sessions and receive a $90 print credit.

Step 1: Announcement & Maternity Sessions
$225/half hour or
$350/hour
Before your baby even arrives you're getting ready for them to get here. Announcement sessions are early in your pregnancy and allow you to get photos to include in announcements, gender reveals or other ways to share the news with family and friends.
Maternity sessions are later in the pregnancy, typically between 28-36 weeks of pregnancy. Schedule yours to fit your lifestyle and make sure you're comfortable enough to walk around, and far enough along that you're happy with how much you're showing in photos.

Your family and pets are a huge part of your life, so feel free to include everyone you want in your session!
Step 2: Fresh 48 Session
Whether you're still at the hospital or just coming home with your new baby, a fresh 48 (or even 72 or longer) session can be a great way to capture the first few days for your family! I can come to the hospital and photograph you in your room with your baby a day or two after birth. Or if you're introducing your newest member to other kids, I can come to your home and get those first moments captured.

Step 3: At Home Newborn Sessions

Once your sweet baby arrives, you'll want a newborn session! My newborn sessions are typically at home, though I have done them on location during good weather or at my studio. All newborn sessions are lifestyle sessions. This means that the focus is not on posing your baby, but on natural interactions with your newest family member. The photographs showcase your family spending time with your baby and are intended to create beautiful memories that feel natural.

Let me know your due date. On that date I'll reach out and send you a schedule to sign up for your session. Indoor sessions should be sometime mid-day as this tends to be a bright time indoors and tends to be a good time for most family schedules. Outdoor sessions should be earlier in the morning or closer to sunset. I recommend at least an hour for these sessions.
Steps 4-6: 3 Month, 6 Month, 9 Month Sessions
Little ones change so much during their first year! You can schedule milestone sessions throughout the year to capture their personalities, interests and accomplishments at each step of the way. Or just choose the ones that make the most sense for your family!
These sessions can be scheduled at home, on location or at the KatFour Photo studio. Include props that help represent this stage in their life and include as many outfits as you'd like. These sessions can focus on your baby and make them them the star, focus on the whole family or be a mix of both!

Step 7: 1st Birthday/Cake Smash

The first birthday is a HUGE milestone for every kiddo! Often families choose to celebrate this fun occasion with a cake smash. Whether you want a family session, a portrait session for your 1 year old, a cake smash session, a mix of all that or a photographs at a birthday party, we can schedule the photos that are right for you!
I recommend at least an hour for the 1st birthday session if you want to include portraits, family photos and a cake smash.

For food safety and allergy reasons clients must provide their own cake for cake smashes.

Step 8: Getting Prints, Albums & Other Products
Once you receive a link to your gallery you'll have a couple of options for getting your images printed. The gallery has a built in shop with many products for you to choose from! If you'd prefer you can also download the images and print them at your preferred lab.
